The beginning of July Spark hosted its first Yestermorrow Design/Build School class in which a group of people traveled as far as from California and Saudi Arabia to learn how to make a tiny house! Then we showed it off at the Tiny Town event the end of the month.
This class was a great learning experience for ALL involved and we look forward to doing it again as well as others Yestermorrow collaborations.
One of the great benefits was all the support from new and longstanding friends of Spark.
Thank you to Enfield-based Marvin Windows distributor A.W. Hastings & Co. for donating the Integrity windows that let the light into the tiny house!
Thank you to the Small Business Development Center for the generous sponsorship of the Tiny Town event plus leading two workshops on Lean Startup Methodology.
Thank you to Point One Architects in Old Lyme for sponsorship of Tiny Town and all the help with the tiny house class!
Thank you also to: the ISAAC School, the Children's Museum of Niantic, St. Francis House, the Hygienic, Three Rivers Architecture Program, and the many volunteers who lent a hand!
